We are in partnership with the 5 other clubs in Northern Lincolnshire to provide a steady supply it cuddly Lions to the Disney Ward and Children’s A&E at Scunthorpe hospital. Children who are distressed and need comfort in hospital are given one to keep and take home when they leave hospital. Each club donates two months supply and this is Isle Lion James visiting Disney Ward recently to make our delivery.

Thank you for all those who attended our quiz to raise funds for the Ukraine, we raised £525 which will go directly to our Polish partner club, along with the £1500 we have already donated, also supported by our twin club de Bernisse in the Netherlands who generously donated 1000 Euros. The funds will go directly to buy essential goods & equipment needed by the refugees.
Link to Gallery The Isle Lions had a mobility scooter donated, which was in need of overhauling & refurbishment, this was carried out courtesy of Eden Mobility in Scunthorpe: https://www.eden-mobility.co.uk/ for which the Lions are very grateful. The scooter has been donated to Julie Marshall of Belton, pictured with Lee Jagger, Group Manager for Eden Mobility, left, & David Hollier Welfare officer for the Isle Lions.
