President of the Isle of Axholme Lions Graham Guest (Left) presents Lions member Alan Holgate with the District award for best Lions club website.

"The Isle of Axholme Lions  have won their district's website competition. Their award was presented at the Lions district convention held at the Oaklands Hotel, Laceby Nr Grimsby. The district comprises  Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland, with 56 clubs.

Club president Graham Guest said... "he was very pleased that all the hard work put into building and maintaining the site by Lions member Alan Holgate, had been recognised, the site  raised both the awareness and work of the charity organisation locally and nationally". I think it's a very informative and well designed site and a worthy winner, I would encourage everyone to pay it a visit and judge for themselves, and also find out what the Lions are up to in the area"
